Our Small Scale System

Beginning in August 2018, the Big Box Farm Project will be operating a small scale Aquaponics system on campus at Alma College. The system selected is the Nelson and Pade F5 System. It will be utilized to familiarize fellows and the community on Aquaponic systems and to demonstrate how the system can be further implimented as we move towards a Full Scale Operation. At the end of the fellowship, those working on the project will write and prepare a guidebook about how to implement our Big Box Farm model that can be distributed to communities across the nation.
